Tidal

The Tidal project looks at how weather and tide affect our perception of reality. We can accurately forecast a tide, but we cannot predict the variations in weather conditions which impact upon this process of nature, and as a consequence, each passing phase of a tide will appear different.

Working in challenging weather conditions which are not apparent in the image due to time exposure, but are essential in conveying the passage of time, the use of light, space and texture within these compositions achieves a timeless tranquility unseen by the naked eye, yet captured in a single frame.
